I am presently working on compiling a list of what I view to be the most difficult challenges to answer for the Existence of God. 

And I can’t really call them honest challenges, because of how much dishonesty is in them. Nor can I really consider them to be rational…because I have yet to find any that are. 

This has led me to safely conclude and proclaim the fact, that atheism is dead and a pointless exercise except as… perhaps safe starting point at zero to find God from…if you are honest and rational in every choice you make in every challenge you face against Atheism to find God through Christ by His Word. 

The problem is, I know I cannot answer every challenge. Nor can I even begin to go into all the ways of one challenge. I can either simply defeat them and disregard how unsatisfied that makes someone feel by my lack of effort agaist whatever excuse they cling to… or make this suggestion to anyone that feels unhappy from my effort. 

Write to Jesus yourself and treat Him with the Respect He is due, and ask Him yourself. 

I am being serious. I know Jesus would be very pleased to hear from a pen pal. So set aside ego and take up pen and paper and go to work straightening out your own mess. 

But for now, allow me to shortly cover three big arguments that are defeated, but seem to keep coming back from the dead. 

- “We Can't Know when Christ was born” which is an appeal to ignorance. 

- “If God exists, why is there suffering/evil” which is straw manning

- “If God exists, why do Christians murder people?” Which is special (bias) pleading (prejudice).

Those are three “strong” seeming arguments, build on fallacy. 

But if I take every argument against God and dismiss from the basis of arguments that self-contradict, lack logic, or are immoral… there would be no argument anyone could ever use against the existence of God. 

It is a very unGodly tact to try to argue that “truth is whatever I want it to be”

But let me make that clear, because so many phrases like that have made a cacophony of white noise. 

Truth is fact and what is not truth, is fiction and a lie regardless of how much you want to believe it. Evidence is not what makes something a fact or true. Truth gives birth to the evidence that can prove what is true. Do not twist that backwards because you will be misled. 

And where it comes to arguments against God, I find them to mainly be spewed from people who are basing their belief on the ASSumption God does not exist to begin with. And grasping convenient straws in ignorance to fabricate a competing false narrative. 

Jesus, the Son of David, of the tribe of Judah, born in Bethlehem to a virgin, was proclaimed long before it was… conceptualized. 

That is a written and well-documented historical fact even hundreds of years before Angels appeared to Shepherds declaring, “Peace on earth and good will towards men” and were told where to find the evidence of the existence of our Lord. And now have the luxury of celebrating that occasion, as best as we can with whatever understanding we have.

So it should not be surprising at all that during the time of God’s seeming absence on earth through the Prince of Peace, that His birth was celebrated by every tribe and culture and religion. Every knee bows, every tongue confesses. As it still is today in varying ways as ignorance is added into the only True Way to celebrate His Birth. 

Oh wait, can someone show me that way so I know what is not true? Or are you going to lie to me and tell me there is no truth.

So let the appeal of being ignorant, be shunned and disdained with all due shame it has earned. God exists, and the only excuse to claim otherwise is by circular reasoning. 

“If God, why Evil then”

When Angels appeared to shepherds to herald, “Peace on earth and goodwill towards men” they made one statement Goal that rests on a conditional Determination by the adoption of We The People.

That is reflected by the adoption of Jesus by Joseph who did use excuse of the law to stone Mary as an adultress. Joseph's fear of God was greater than his fear of the laws and of the pressures to conform of his culture.

Funnily enough, the Angelic Declaration did not say, “Whatever makes you happy”  Which is perhaps the greatest slogan of any cult made by any cult leader to attract mindless masses of psychopathic, homicidal, cowards, liars, and hypocrites.

Which makes it pretty easy to spot scavengers from sheep. And seriously, don't dare be stupid to try to tell this cowboy that shepherds wouldn’t be out in the pasture in winter time with their livestock. I doubt you will catch me on a day where I can act nice and tell you, “Believe whatever makes you happy:”

As I briefly covered in a former article concerning how cults operate, is through exploiting vulnerability which is applied through two methods. I pointed out it is by a lack of critical thinking, and moral judgement. But let’s understand that easier by saying ignorance and immorality. 

Let me underline the rest of what I am about to say by pointing out a very easy to understand common sense formula for success.

Make Right Choices.

If your head is on straight, that is all you need to hear to find the right direction. And in regards to God… we are talking about the Creator of the Universe. But some people are obviously too simple minded to simply understand.

God is the LOGOS. The wellspring of all that is Good that is Holy and that is Right. 

And if you have determined, God does not exist, because obviously evil is present? You have abandoned all reason from your ever-loving mind. That excuse to believe Truth exists, is without merit. 

We are creatures that gain an understanding of environmental conditions through studying what contrasts. 

We inhale life, and exhale death through a process that creates a Homeostatic condition of Harmony in our body that promotes our system towards function and progress. And the abundance of one triggers an opposing response from the other to restore order and correct the disturbance of the peaceful state.

We should be able to look at who is and is not evil and know, which ones our best people are, should be protected and respected. And any threat to them should be prevented.

But “Make right choices” doesn't appeal and satisfy nearly as much as “do what makes you happy”

And you wonder why there is evil. I will tell you. Because success is conceptualized when you fear God alone, you do what is Right.

“But Christians murder people!”

That is a lie. No follower of Jesus has EVER murdered anyone, ever. 

Now that is not dismiss the fact, there have been wolves in sheeps clothing. There have been people that take God’s name in vain. 

Because every person that murders, is unGodly. 

And what is Good can never come from an evil source. Yet I run into people trying to teach the bible says opposite and God teaches it is ok to murder to enslave to rape etc. There is no lie too low for these…evil people….grasp straws with. 

But tell me, what teacher is greater than Jesus? Is Bart Erhman walking on water? Did Christopher Hitchens raise himself from the dead? Has anyone seen sam harris open the eyes of the blind?

When you find out what century has been the bloodyist in human history, you may find out that it was due to human nature. No one can blame “religion” except by proxy of the religous dogmas and practice of atheism through the teachings of Darwin and Marx. 

There has never been any recorded example of greater human atrocities. 

Except…maybe on the cross. 

A while back I was in the middle of no small amount of drama at work. And I don’t wish to say which hat I was wearing as I was in service to the community as a First Responder… It doesn’t really matter if it was when I was a medic, firemen, or LEO. I have experienced worse even going back to when I was in the NAVY a short time and heard of way worse. 

But this occasion I remember clocking out and getting on the road and telling Jesus, “man I am tired of suffering this way….”

My answer back should be easy to imagine… “Yeah… I hear ya.”

Not the first time my Lord has brought me to tears in apology for my behavior and attitude.

So next morning in time to get ready for the next shift… I saddled up to go do what was needed to be done and didn’t bitch about it. 

I was reading a story of a person that was going through his own hell in Soviet Russia. From where I can see, he had it a lot better than some hundred million that the commies have robed, raped, and murdered over the last hundred years. 

But anyway he had heard enough, and was experiencing hell, he started seeking Christ for all he was worth. The problem was the government did not allow any bibles whatsoever much less any churches or practice of Christianity. 

So he took books from the university on the subject of Scientific Atheism, and took every quoted line from the bible, out of the context of the textbook and essentially reconstructed enough to study the bible from. 

I gotta wonder how hard it would be to find an atheist that is outaraged over the idea of one of their holy books being cherry picked to prove God?

But as the bible states and we prove, every tongue confesses. And ignorance of that law is no excuse from it’s fact nor escape from the consequences

Now I can't begin to cover all the arguments people can invent to make excuses to claim God does not exist. And if I dismissed and left unanswered, every argument that was made through self contradicting logic, or fallacious reasons, there would be nothing to say except:

Seek God through Jesus by His Word if you want to make Right Choices in your life and achieve success. 

But where teachers misuse the bible to mislead for their personal glory to control their followers. Jesus did not. He set the example that we should all follow to not get ahead of ourselves and play god.

So let us not conflate with lies what is true. As I mentioned, we identify and study based on contrast and conflict. We are made capable to withstand adversity, and even overcome it. We discern the shape of something based on light against the dark, depth and volume to see lack vs abundance. But seldom appreciate that what is sufficient, is perfect. Not too much, nor too little. But balanced and functional for it's purpose. 

God made us in His image, to be destroyers, or creators. But we lack the intelligence of God to seldom ever know what is needed. 

I will say this for the job of the devil and how well he does it to serve the needs of God. 

The devil is never at his most vulnerable than when you are so completely surrounded by darkness, you can only see a faint flicker of light. And I recently heard a good quote. 

“Heaven is claimed to reign when hell prevails, and you can’t even admit to yourself your own suffering.” ~ Source unknown

I’ve been in that place before. More than once in fact, and I don’t know of those times which may have been the worst. But thank God for that last time when I was grasping for my final straw that instead of looking for something else to grab onto… I saw that flicker and turned to it instead to find Jesus and follow Him through His Word to Understand and be able to face all that darkness, unafraid of anything in it. 

But that is when I had full understanding of what kind of sad shape…. We are all in. We are all devils in the darkness until you face the music to experience firsthand what the meaning behind that song, Amazing Grace, is. 

In response to the declaration of the Angels, our Founding Fathers gave a response to their proclamation. 

The reply to the angels is stated in words that I would dare say are as perfect as can ever come a response from any man and is found in the Preamble of our Constitution.
