The black coffee is flowing hot and strong today, as I continue to read through comments on social media and listen to the mainstream media personalities as they “inform and educate” us about “all” the mass shootings… Yes, my perspective today revolves around the right answers for the gun-related issues we are seeing in our country of late. So let’s get after it, just remember this little quote from a lesser-known President as you read;

There are many agencies that operate under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Many of these agencies have been shuffled around. Some agencies have been given additional responsibilities and some agencies have had some of their primary responsibilities taken away or given a higher or lower priority.

The USA PATRIOT Act is an acronym. It stands for Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism. This Act came in shortly after 11 September 2001. This Act created a major change, adding significant surveillance power and search power to the intelligence agencies. President George W. Bush signed it into law in October 2001.

Ah… the black coffee tastes exceptional this morning. Some might say bitter, but as truth would have it, it’s all relative to individual tastes. It has come to my attention that many on this page believe that “Cold Dead Hands” refers only to gun rights. You know, the old Heston slogan for the NRA; “You can pry it from my cold dead hands” that they stole initially anyway, right?
