What do we hear in that Sound of Freedom?
The battle cry of a warrior saying Deus Vult, or when a child says, “God please save me, I don’t belong here.”
This movie has started a lot of good conversations, even though it may not seem so. But there are some good questions being asked and answered. Starting with the premise, “Is this true?” and leading to, “How can people be so evil?” And resulting in one I heard recently, “Is there a path of redemption for people who are guilty of this?”
Small confession, I have not yet seen the movie. However I have watched podcast interviews hosted by Ryan Shaw , which really delt with the issue of how factual the movie is in his interview with Jim Caviezel. Jordan Peterson who interviewed both , and Tim Pool’s interview of Tim Ballard and the movie direct, Alejandro Monteverde where one of Tim’s co-hosts named Ian Crossland asked Tim and Allejandro the question of someone being redeemed after such heinous crimes .
I can’t recommend people watching those podcasts enough, especially if you are in any sort of debate over the movie.
I may speak a little about my book…because the real life issue of child sex trafficking is brought up in my sci-fi series and arguably makes my series something people may enjoy if they enjoyed the bio adaptation movie of Tim Ballard.
However, I want no competition against the Jim Caviezel movie whatsoever.
Seriously if you have the choice to buy my book, or take yourself or family to see the movie…take the movie. My book will be around to enjoy later and hopefully soon the next two in the series will be published.
And it won’t hurt my feelings if I am trying to keep up with publishing books as fast as sequels to Sound of Freedom come out.
But… hollywood is for the moment in a state of suspended animation with it's actors and writers waging war on itself for their “fair wage” their marxist socialist task master “workers” are disinclined to allow their laborers.
I am sure it has nothing to do with how the hollywood mindset is at war against The Sound of Freedom. Just a coincidence…not an act of God…right.
But we are dealing with a people who reject God and have adopted an artificial “logic” to cope with reality. And their answer to the first question “Is this true” is to lie and deny it until it is proven to them and they have no choice to admit it or appear as they are, psychologically damaged.
Some go further to be willing to grudgingly admit it is true, and I honestly do not see how you cannot admit it other than sheer ignorance, or gross psychopathy. But at the next question, “How can people be this evil” we start getting into finger pointing and blame gaming out of lying mouths speaking hypocrisy. Because the last question they want to have to answer is if there is a path of redemption away from evil. Much less facing the hard truth that in the face of unspeakable evil, it is likely too late.
The undeniable truth is that there are some crimes even God does not forgive nor forget to say “Begone I never knew you.”
If there is any category of evil that should carry the term, “satanic” it would be on the subject confronted by The Sound of Freedom. But it is a category that has a lot of room for more than just one act in it.
Evil says, “We are coming for your children.”
Good says, “God’s Children are not for sale.”
It requires an irrational mind to argue “Murder isn’t wrong… unless God is doing it.” But I have been there recently. In fact this country has and likely blinked and missed the case made by satanists arguing limits on abortion interfere with practice of their religion.
That that sink in just a minute who's on your side if you support abortion, conditional or unconditional.
"The bible is false there is no evidence of a great flood!
The ice caps are melting! We have to pay more taxes and buy green cars or we will all drown!"

“God will never force me to do something I don’t agree with!”
Humanity is the only species capable of exercising moral judgment. And somehow it has escaped our conscience that there are immediate penalties for exercising bad judgment.
That it may be better to chop off your hand if you steal. That it may even be better to gouge out your own eye if your eye causes you to sin. But to rape innocence? Jesus Himself said would be better to tie a millstone around your neck and be dropped in the sea for just causing a child to sin.
We can look at ancient history through the best kept record of it in the Bible and see on occasion there has been regimes of tyranny… and of evil that were confronted by Good. And in the cases of most extreme, some remnant of what was left that was Good managed to survive.
I don’t know who is being suckered into the silly argument presented by atheists that if God was Good He would stop evil.
Especially when the same argumentative evil person will frame God as being evil for the actions He has made in history that stopped evil.
Couple of small details to note concerning the bible.
To date, no science has ever disproven the existence of God.
And there is no science that has stood any test that disproves the bible. There is also no archeological evidence that contradicts anything the bible recorded.
However, there is more than an abundance of science, history, and archeology that confirms the bible is true.
Another person recently said to me after I called them out for being a bald faced liar, “Oh I didn’t lie. That is just how I perceived what happened.”
Being honest about your feelings and speaking truth to somebody can be two different things.
Because your feelings can be dishonest to you and therefore you speak the lies you believe based on your feelings.
Facts do not care about your feelings, as Ben Shapiro often says.
There is a day of reckoning for people who commit their crimes. It is inescapable, even if you are stealing more time with lies to hide your guilt. You are just a dead man walking.
And it requires an irrational and totally absurd mind to think that good people will wind up experiencing the same eternity with humanity’s worst examples.
But on that day, you do not want to be caught standing with liars, cowards, and hypocrites.
Trust me, God does not want that for anyone and has done everything to give you a path to redemption to the point of sending His own beloved Son to die in our place of judgment.
One of the countless things that amazes me about the life Jesus had on this earth was even after the way mindless, thoughtless, liars and cowards and hypocrites treated Him…He still wanted them to find that path and allow Him to save them when there was precious few around Him that welcomed Him and treated Him with any level of decency. Especially since there has never been a more important dignitary that ever sat foot on this planet.
